Hi Experts,
We are using SRM5.0 classic scenario. We are having two below purchase order types. Please advise how we can use different number ranges for these.
1. Complete descriptive shopping cart by assigning vendor and price which resulted creating PO in ECC system.
2. Catalog shopping carts, this also create purchase order in ECC system.
I have cerated two document types and external number ranges in ECC system for both of these scenarios. But don't know how to create two internal number ranges in SRM so that correct document type and number range is selected in ECC system.

Raj

Hi,
In SPRO
Supplier Relationship Management > SRM Server > Cross-Application Basic Settings > Number Ranges > SRM Server Number Ranges > Define Number Ranges per Backend System for Follow-on Documents
You need to create a number range in R/3 too as external.

Hi,
1. Complete descriptive shopping cart by assigning vendor and price which resulted creating PO in ECC system.
Number range in SPRO -- Define Number range for Local Purchase order
Eg:
NO from to
05 8000000000 3099999999.
2. Catalog shopping carts, this also create purchase order in ECC system
Number range in SPRO -- Define Number range for Shopping cart and folow on documents
eg:
NO from to
PO 3000000000 3099999999
Just try
