This is a naive question, but since I did just experienced Ariba in the last 2 years I might be blind when discussing other SAP solutions.
What are the main differences between Ariba and S4Hana?
THank you

Hi,
Difference very simple. Ariba is used in Purchasing and S4HANA is used entire supply chain. Ariba Can be integrated with S4HANA. Purchase is the part S4 HANA so Ariba is one of the product from SAP. Ariba is used to connect with largest vendors/suppliers all over the world. S4HANA is whole approach.

Hi - there is a whole (free) OpenSAP Course on this topic - I recommend taking it https://open.sap.com/courses/srm2 - I did and it is very good

Thank you Tammy!
Hi Murilo,
S4HANA is a whole integrated ERP solution, that means managing information of several areas of the company such as sales, production plant, warehouse management and others. In this post you can find an overview of the most popular modules of SAP inside the ERP (S4 HANA and ECC).
In case you have interes, this other post is a quick overview of other SAP products including Ariba.
I hope that helps. Kind regards,
Cristina Gil Gallo
