Difference and correct usage between BBP_VENDOR_SYNC and BBPUPDVD

Hi All,

I would like to know the difference between two vendor replication programs/function 9BBP_VENDOR_SYNC and BBPUPDVD) and their correct usage. Both are used for updating changes in the vendor from SAP backend to SRM system.

I hope you can shed light on this.

Hi ,

BBPGETVD is usually executed during the Initial upload, this should be run only once.

Once the vendors are replciated all subsequent vendor changes and the new vendors can be taken care by the Vendor_SYNC.

VENDOR_SYNC program should be shcedule as a background job for any changes and new vendors.

This program checks for for vendors who are assigned to the relevent Purch Org.
