Description field disappeared in 1 step of Wizard

Dear Experts,

i am facing a strange problem in the first step of the shopping cart creation of 3 steps wizard (SRM 7.0).

When i try to create a free text item, the field "Description" is not there in the pop-up window, where such information like product category or UOM has to be given.

When i than try to proceed to the 2nd step of the shopping cart creation, i receive an error message saying "Enter a descrioption".

Only after klick with the mouse on the red light icon of that error message, the field "Description" appears.

Has anyone maybe come accross such a system behaviour?

If you have not configured for this field to be invisible (through IMG), you might want to try running it with a different browser and see if that makes a difference.

Hi Jay,

actually this problem only occures with one end user.

Regarding the browser version - every end user is using the same browser version, so i would not assume that this can be the source.

What is even more interesting, is that this particular end user was seeing the now hidden field in the past...???

OK. Then this user must have right-clicked on the "description" field and selected "User Settings" -> Hide Input Field "Description". Ask him/her to reselect that field and display it.
