Delivery address is getting defaulted based on the plant address

Dear Experts/ ,

We are in SRM 7 EHP 2. I am having a query where the delivery address (upon shopping cart creation) is getting defaulted based on the plant address wherein I have read the below wiki page where it has been mentioned as ship to address is not to take over the plant address

Could you please advise if there is any behavior change or it will be really helpful if you could provide some clue on where it needs to be checked from the technical perspective.

Hello,

Plant address should not be defaulted in shopping cart, as mentioned in this wiki page.
There was an issue where this was occurring and note 2063739 is responsible for solving it.

Hi Ricardo,

Thanks for the update. We are having a concern where we are not able to enter the delivery address manually wherein we need to select any of the existing delivery address and change the values in that.

Could you please advise whether it is a standard behavior or if there are any notes which will resolve this issue since it is possible to enter the delivery address manually.

Hi Bharati,

Are you meaning that delivery address fields are grayed out?
Or only the "name" field does not have the search help enabled?
If this is the case, note 2015243 should help.
