Deleting PO in SRM 7.0

Experts,

We are on SRM 7.0 (Ext classic). User has asked us to delete one of his POs as he does not wish to see this in one of the monthly reports.

What is the best way to delete the same?

You can not delete PO from SRM , But you can mark line item for deletion and order the PO .

yes, i know when output PO is correctly processed, PO deletion at header level is not possible.

But you don't answer to my question: why user himself does not delete PO items ?
