Delete a line item

Hello All,

We are using SAP SRM 7.0 SP02 for self service procurement scenario in classic mode.

We are using external catalogs for creating SCs, at time catalog vendor adds promotional item for free in their catalog, when users select this lineitem it gets transferred to SAP SRM with out any price. Users along with other line items order the SC, On completion PO gets created except the promotional line item as the price was ZERO.

Now users want this line item to be deleted from their SC. We are not able to delete the SC from SC monitor as follow on document has been created.

Kindly provide pointers to delete this line item.

Hi Madhan,

You cannot delete an item which has follow on document. You can reverse the follow-on document and then delete.

Check Note 649794 - Status dependent control of Shopping Cart.

According to it, if the PO is your first follow-on document for the cart and there are no follow-on documents to PO, then you can delete the Shopping cart item.

Open the Shopping cart and Select the item and Click on Delete button.

Now there is no Save button shown. So click on Read Only button and on the Pop-up choose Yes.

This will Delete the Shopping cart and the PO Item.
