Delegate functionality in Sourcing 9

Hello Experts,

Would like to know if there is any delegate functionality in case of Contract Approval workflow(XPDL) in wave-9.It will be useful in case contract approver is out of office/vacation.

Hi,

I have seen in the Release notes for wave 9 that workflow delegate functionlity is available.Hope you have seen it. Else just search in SMP. I would like other members who are on wave 9 to confirm.

Yes, Sourcing 9.0/Wave 9 supports workflow delegation. The current approver can delegate the workflow items like contract approvals, projects approvals and supplier registration approvals. Multiple levels of delegation is also possible.

Thanks Vikram. Delegate functionality is available by either using My Settings-Delegation or setup-system admin- int user accounts menu if you have sufficient security roles.
