Default Values for Customer Text Types (with logic)

Dear all,

I am having trouble trying to set a default value for a new customer text type. The issue here is that I need to set a default but not constant text. What I mean is that the text to be included to the text type will depend on some values of the PD, more specifically in this case for the SC at item level (In the "Notes & Attachments" tab at item level).

The behavour is that we are just replicating the Basic Text Data from materials from ECC to SRM and we need to fill this new text type with the corresponding value according to the material set for the item.

I would like to know if there is a customizing point or if in other case if must be codified. If the second option is the only one, what BADI should be used for that?
