Hi experts,
My client has a plan to de-commission the SRM 7.0 system from the business. we are in the process of impact analysis in transaction data's, master data's and also archiving of all SRM documents in ECC after sunset of SRM.
Please can anyone share their experience//expertise in this area-Decommissioning of SRM 7.0?
Also, Pl help provide SAP 's key recommendations fur such scenarios //Notes etc
Inputs greatly appreciated.

For sunset impact, please let me know
>>What Scenario you are using now (Classic, Extended Classic, Standalone etc.,)
>>When you say sunset - does that mean, you will throw it away or will use it to only display the archived documents?
>>If you scenario uses a backend system, are you also throwing it away?
>>As long as you don't use the SRM stand alone scenario - your master data for SRM is all available in your backend system. (Assuming you don't have any custom master data that is directly maintained in SRM)
>>What are the applications you use in SRM (ROS, SUS, Catalog)
To being with-
SAP supports archiving for the below in SRM
You can archive the data of the following documents:
· Shopping Carts (SC),
Purchase Orders (PO) and Purchase Order Responses (POR),
Confirmations (CF),
Invoices (INV),
Contracts (CTR) / Global Outline Agreements (GOA),
Bid Invitations,
Auctions,
Bids, and Procurement Cards
In order for any archiving to work in SRM, the documents must be successfully going through the CHECK and have the correct document status;
