Custom fields in RFX response

Hi Gurus,

I am working on the SRM7.0, I need to add two input fields on the RFX response window so that the bidder can provide the value for the same. I have done the following configurations in the SPRO against the Extension and Field Control (personalization)->Create Customer fields on Header level.

Maintained the field under the following two activities

1.Append for Customer Cross-Document Database Fields on Header

2. Append for Customer Fields on RFx Response Header

After activating both the structure i have maintained the meta data for the same using the following path and following values:

Extensions and Field Control (Personalization)->Configure Field Control->Configure Control for Fields on Header Level->Metadata for Fields on Document Headers

Entries appear as follow:

Structure Field Name          : Zfield_name

Bus. Object Type                : BUS2202   

Bus. Object Subtype

Transaction Type

Field Visible                     : X

Field Enabled                    : X.

Still I am not able to see these fields on the RFX response view once i log in as a vendor. Can you please suggest what I might be doing wrong or missing in order to achieve the same.

Hi All,

Issue has been resolved with the help of the SAP Note# 1115579.

Anyone who is having any issues in getting the custom fields being displayed in the portal post configuraiton in the SPRO. Please refer to the mentioned note#.
