Custom Fields Contract fields from ECC system to CCM.

Hi Guys,

Currently we use the SAP standard way to send the contract data from ECC to MDM catalog management via PI,

1. We use the program RM06CCMEXP to push the data to PI

2. PI interface MDMContractDataTransmission4ProductID_In is used receive the data.

3. PI interface CatalogueUpdateNotification_Out to send the data to SRM system.

4. Standard mapping program is used in PI ContractCatalogueUpdateNotification2MDMContractDataTransmission.xsl to mapp the data.

Everything works fine....

My requirement is I need to add few custom fields and few standard field which is not available right now in program RM06CCMEXP.

1. How to accomdate new fields in RM06CCMEXP is it possible via badi or user exits?

2. whether is it advisable to change the standard PI objects ??

3. How MDM data base is updated??? I am aware till the PI drops the file in the FTP server but unable to find how MDM recognize the file and how it updates and how the mapping are done.
