Custom added fields are empty in the report ARBCIG_MASTER_DATA_EXPORT while running background

Hi All,

I've added three fields in the structure ARBCIG_USER for the program ARBCIG_MASTER_DATA_EXPORT, when we are executing with a dialog user in both background mode and foreground we can see the data populated, however, while executing with the user-type Communication Data those entries are empty,

Note: The Communication Data user type has all authorization, and I've maintained those custom entries into the table ARBCIG_FIELDMAP.

how about the mappings in s/4 have you done it already?

are the fields mapped in the General table? If so do these fields have a place in Ariba? Ariba will have to enable the fields your mapping so they can be used. I know this is a general answer, but mapping the ARBCIG_FIELDMAP is first step.. (ARBCIG_USER). Your Sap Ariba support person should help you make sure the field is viewable in your system. If you are seeing data coming from the job that should be done, i.e. you see data in AL11 output. The data must be correct in the integration manager or site manager (import) can you see the records there? Have you tried to export the data that you have already loaded?

Also if your SAP Consultant created these fields for you, you have to Enable them via Integration Manager, go to the Data Definition either in Parent or Child and review the update from SAP Ariba. You have to approve the new fields.
