We are in SRM 7.0 Standalone system. I have assigned one value (USD) for the attribute "CUR" in Org chart. But the Shoppingcart for that User has no restrictions in selecting the Currency. I am able to create a cart with any of the 39 currencies available in F4 search. Any control that I have missed to excercise to restrict the user to use only those currencies that are assigned in attribute?
Currencies maintained in attributes are your default currencies. So in your SC item, you can enter other currecny but Total value of SC has your default local currency. If you want to restrict user to shop only for local currency, you can write a code which checks table HRV1222A at the time of currency selection and then only allow to select currency from your attributes.
I think that what you have changed is to set the default value of currency. If you want to limit the one value (USD) for the attribute "CUR". Maybe you can try to write code of ABAP.
