Create PO from Contract in SAP SRM in Extended Classic Scenario with Outline for Service Line Item

Hello All,

I am looking out for a Solution to create PO from Contract in SAP SRM 7.0.

We have Extended Classic Scenario in place.(PS- We cannot switch back to Classic scenario ).

When we create PO from Contract, it removes Outline and Only Flat Service Line are seen in POs.

We contacted SAP for the same and SAP said this is how SAP SRM works for PO in extended Classic scenario. We are looking out for a solution where we can have Outline on PO line item if PO is created from Contract.

Note - If I create PO from RFx response then PO is created with Outline as Expected.I am removing GROUPING_LEVEL as blank.

Is there any parameter which we can set to enable Outline for Service POs.

We tried setting few parameters like ITM_TYPE as 'HIER' ; SUBTYPE as 'EP' , but its didn't help.

Any pointers to this problem is highly appreciated.

As PPS 2.0 is active in our landscape,we understand by tweaking the PS item types and Configurable item numbering, the hierarchy creation in SRM PO is possible and also the replication of the PO line items in a similar representation to the ECC

Could you please help by providing any pointers?
