Create New UoM in SRM

Hello all

I would like to create a new UoM in SAP . The same was created in ECC .I tried to replicate using the delta download program DNL_CUST_BASIS3. The status is green . but i do not find the UoM replicated in CUNI

I have proceeded to manually add the entry in CUNI

I would like to know:

1. Why the UoM is not replicating using DNL_CUST_BASIS3

2. Is there any harm manually adding in CUNI

3. I have not created any ISO code for the UoM . Will there be any issues ?

Hi

Downloading the object DNL_CUST_BASIS3 is not required from SAP SRM 5.0 onwards.

SAP dlivers a standard set of UOMs.

To check and sync the UOMs,

1. Selecte ISO codes in t.code CUNI

2. Select Uitilites from top menu and then Adjustment

3. Choose the RFC destination of ECC system

Then the ISO codes will be synchronized with ECC in SRM sytem.

Finally

4. Select UOM and maintain the UOM according to the changes made in ERP ( if you have any custom UOM's and any changes to standard UOM's)
