Convert Error message to warning message

Hi Experts ,

At the time of creating RFx we are getting an Error message "Delivery date is before the submission deadline 19.07.2011; check item 0001"

Now I want to change the Message type from Error to Warning ..

How can i convert the message type as it i s a standard one .

Achieved this by adding the message in BBPV_PDMSG and then aded the message in BBBPV_PDMSG_CUS by refering the BO type BUS2200

and chenged the message type as W

Hello,

Not all messages are customizable.

Originally, customizable messages can be found in table BBPV_PDMSG. If message was not previously there, probably this message is not customizable.

Regarding RFX, "Delivery date is before the submission deadline", I feel that this message cannot be switched to warning, since it is against the RFX process to publish it with an earlier delivery date.

As u said I maintained it in BBPV_PDMSG and now I am not able to change it .

So inorder to change the message type what should i do .

Dear Ricardo Cavedini,

 I feel that this message cannot be switched to warning, since it is against the RFX process to publish it with an earlier delivery date. 

I also 100% agree with you that, it should be a error message and it may not be changed to a warning message...

However I have a similar issue with some other message, could you please visit and put your valuable answer?

Hello ,

In SPRO transaction SAP Supplier Relationship Management >SRM Server> Cross application Basic Settings> Message Control>

Influence Message Control ; maintain the message as warning.

Also maintain the table BBPV_PDMSG .

I have done the changes as u said ...

I entered the following details in rha tab

after entering into the flow

then i found an table where i selected the BUS2200

And then I enetered the following details in table

Message CLass BBP_PD

No 132 (I got this from SE91)

Type W

Standard W (After click on Enter the Standard field is populating with W )

and after saving this I have done the thing as u said ..But it is not working as per the thing
