Contract ID range in Contract Compliance

Can you tell me if there is definition of ID range for Contract in Contract Compliance?

I see it starts from C1 and currently it has 3 digits after C, will it increase if number of contract exceeds 999? Will it be C1000 next and until what digit can it have?

as far as I am aware there is no limit, approvable document's number will be incremental from the last created document number and system will assign based on the numbering scheme that is configured
