Contract document getting stuck after new script activation

Hi All,

We have activated a new script definition for contract document which makes two custom fields mandatory for the users whenever they create/upload a document and anytime when they try saving existing contract documents . The script acts on the target : POST_SAVE

Issue is post implementing this script, the contract document seems to stuck in approval workflow and it remains in the locked state even if the approval activity is completed. The script however has no relation to the workflow.

There is a daemon alert as captured in the attached screenshot. It relates to the above mentioned script and the session ID is  odp_event_workflow_engine

We have restarted the application server and now have cleared the currently stuck documents through IAPI task(doc unlock script) and the daemon alert is no longer appearing but I am fearing many more contract documents to get stuck once the approval activities get completed.

Please help with any insights as to how we might tackle the issue.

The issue is resolved. We found out the root cause and so are good to go.
