Contract Distribution issue

Dear Experts,

I am currently running some demos on SAP SRM (OneClient on ECC 6.0 EhP4 as Add-On, one client).

I would like to ask you what are the possibilities offered by such a kind of configuration regading Contract Mangement. Specifically, is it possible to distribute contracts? If yes, what are the required customizing steps?

Please, shed some light on Contract Management processes supported by SAP SRM One Client.

SRM one client does not support Operation Contract Management scenario.

Since I have never worked with that kind of scenario I still miss a piece of the puzzle.

Let's say that Contracts cannot be distributed to backedn. How can I then issue POs out of them in Classic Scenario? They should be selected as sources of supply when creating Shopping Carts but how? Do I need to create vendor lists?

Hi,

Normally central contract is used to distribute contract to different ECC systems when a separate SRM system is connected different backend systems.

In one client system only ECC system connected to SRM. So why it is required to distribute contract to only one system.

You can directly create contract in ECC and use it as source of supply in SRM in classic scenario in your case.
