Contract creation through template

Hi,

I am not able to create contact document by using contract template.

1 case : I made a contract template make that as active after phase change and trying to create contract from that template system shows "create contract" button from "Action" menu as suppress, so i am not able to create contract.

2 Case : When i follow "contract management>agreement>create contract document" system proceeded to contract document template and there when i click for search contract no contract is visible, but we have one contract template active as i mention in 1st problem.

Please help me to understand where i am wrong.

Hi Pankaj

This is due to the fact that you dont have sufficient access rights to the Business Objects in ContractGen

Ask your system administrator to give you the read and write access in the Security profiles for Contract Gen

Let me know if it worked after that

Hello Tridip,

I gave all the profile to myself including system admin.

but still problem pesist ... I am not able to create contract from the template. Please help me.

Hi Pankaj,

I checked this with SAP, this is a bug with the lower SP levels, please upgrade to SP06, you will get rid of this error

Please update the thread with the closure remarks on it working after applying this patch

No, i raised the same to SAP and got reply that you should go to SP06, we are planning to move to SP06, we are currently on SP05
