My question is if the standard Integration between SAP Ariba SLP and SAP S/4 HANA is now supporting Contact Persons and how the corresponding integration is exactly working ?
We will use SAP Ariba SLP in the cloud connected via CIG and SAP Cloud Connector to an on premise SAP S/4 HANA system. In our project on the SAP S/4 HANA side a contact person is a separate person BP (person role) with its own BP ID and the main supplier is also a separate organization BP (organization role) with its own BP ID. Contact person and main supplier are then linked with a BP Relationship. There are ~10 relationship types (e.g. executive director, etc..) currently configured in SAP S4/HANA.
So if e.g. in SAP Ariba there is 1 main supplier with 10 contact persons question is if the standard SAP Ariba SLP to SAP S4/HANA integration is generating 11 BusinessPartnerSUITEBulkReplicateRequest_Out messages to create the corresponding BPs in SAP S4/HANA. At the same time or only after the BP confirmation message is back which is containing the keymapping ?, SAP Ariba would create 10 BusinessPartnerRelationshipSUITEBulkReplicateRequest_Out messages which would need to be processed after the BPs have been created in SAP S4/HANA ? Is it possible to configure or map different relationship types in SAP Ariba which are corresponding to the types in SAP S4/HANA ? Does a contact person have a separate ID in SAP Ariba which could be stored in the BP identification numbers field in SAP S/4 HANA ? I am currently assuming that also the relationship would need to have some ID mapping in case that there are updates ? Furthermore I am currently assuming that BusinessPartnerSUITEBulkReplicateConfirmation_In is bringing the keymapping for contact persons back to SAP Ariba for updates from both sides. BusinessPartnerRelationshipSUITEBulkReplicateConfirmation_In will bring the keymapping for contact person relationships back to SAP Ariba. ?
We need to know those details for our design phase.

since unfortunately this does not seem to be a very active discussion board I would like to give an update how we are proceeding with this question/requirement also in order to add some additional Information: We have meanwhile received a SAP Ariba configuration guide from a colleague recently dated from 2019. The guide is including a footnote saying that SAP Ariba SLP does not offer any support for the BP Relationship SOAP message types. If there is no such support we are assuming that this means that SAP Ariba SLP is currently not offering any contact person Integration support ? If not true and there is Integration support we would need to know how any Integration is exactly working.
