Config changes/diff in SRM 5.0 and SRM 7.0

What are the main config differences in SRM 5.0 and 7.0???

Hi,

The biggest change is that you need not configure ITS Server as SRM 7.0 needs an Enterprise Portal to work with. Thus you need to ensure SSO between Portal and SRM.

Hi,

Just to correct, from SRM 7.0 SP5 onwards, it is not mandatory to run Portal anymore.

You can run the NWBC screen for the application too.

Hi,

The usual old configuration from SRM 5.0 still applies. There are some BADIs (if you considered those as basic) are obsolete in SRM 7.0 and you will need to work on those if you are doing an upgrade.
