Company Workbook > eso_accounts' > #BUYER_COMP

Hello,

In the Company Workbook, tab eso_account, what is the meaning of #BUYER_COMP field.

I understand we need to fill the company the buyer is purchasing for. In this case we have around, 12 companies, do we need to fill 12 lines each time?

Hi Christophe,

When a new user is created, the user account would have to be assigned to a Company. If you have multiple Companies, you would have to identify which company the user belongs to and assign the company accordingly. You just need one row in the workbook for each user.  System won’t allow the same user to be associated multiple companies.

Unless it's really needed, I usually try to keep it simple, and just create one Company and assign the users to that Company.

Do you know why when uploading users we are getting a lot of times the error message "The account company cannot be changed [BUYER_COMP]". It is not happening to all the users loaded though.
