Hello Experts,

We are upgrading our CLM system from 10.0.10 to 11.0.10. Upgrade is complete and we are in middle of follow-up activities. We uploaded enterprise upgrade workbook.

For company upgrade workbook, could you please help us with the right approach. We downloaded it from buyer side link and it is empty just with 2 sheets. Shall we upload it AS IS or add our custom objects or sheets from our existing company workbook which contains sheet for all possible objects with customization? another question is, will there be any problem if we upload company workbook from enterprise user login?

Appreciate your help since we have to complete it at the earliest and start with the testing. If you need any other information from our end, please let me know.

Regards, Ankit

If you did the upgrade correctly you should still have your customized objects within SAP CLM and there is no need to re-enter them in your company workbook. The company workbook contains objects which has changed since your last version so it would be enough to leave it as it is and upload it. Just check that the entries within the company workbook does not conflict with your current configuration/customization, if so skip it.

Hope this helps.

I walked through all the company workbooks listed in Reference Guide.

Here is my observation -

  1. Until Version 5.x Company workbook has 1 attribute entry related to INCOTERMS.
  2. The later versions do not have any entries in the company workbook.

The company workbook usually comprises of configurations related to attributes on Master Data, Document Security Templates and any extended attributes on Company object itself.

So I guess its not required to import the company workbook as we do not have any major updates from the product owners to the company object.
