CLM-SRM-ECC Integration [Proxy enhancement]

Hi.

We are using CLM-SRM-ERP (multiple) integrated using PI (standard proxies). Now there is a requirement to add a new custom field in CLM to be replicated to SRM-ECC when a contracted is created. This field only needs to go to one ECC system. If we add the field through proxy enhancement, how would other ECC systems using the same proxy interface be affected?

Or should we create a copy of the standard interface and make changes to it? Please advise.

Hi Mathweus,

The logic that is used to distribute to different ECC systems can also be used to populate the custom field in PI. Alternately based on some other indicator in the PI payload coming from SAP Sourcing you can then choose to either propagate the custom field or not.

Hi Prasad.

Thanks for your response. So you saying I can choose to propagate the field to one ECC system without impacting other ECC systems?

Mathweus,

Without knowing all the details of your solution - how you have integrated to multiple ECC systems, makes it hard to confirm a solution will work. I have provided some guidance and perhaps your in-house experts can confirm the feasibility of this. If it does not work , then we will look at other ways to solve this.

Thanks

Hi Prasad.

SOURCING SRM JSERVER OP 9.0. The problem is that although, the SWCV is available in Integration Builder, I can't find it in SLD where I need to use it as based-on SWCV for my enhancement SWCV.

Please advise.
