Hello,
We are currently facing the following issue: when creating a free text shopping cart in the portal, the unit of measure is a mandatory field, but there is no check if that unit of measure exists among the SRM defined unit of measure.
For example, if the user creates a shopping cart with KT (KARTON in German) unit of measure this shopping cart is ordered and the PO is created without any issues. Though, when trying to create a confirmation for that Shopping Cart or PO the portal throws an error saying: KT unit of measure has no ISO code. What I would like to implement is a check so that a user can not create a shopping cart with this unit of measure.
Any ideas on how to do this?
Thank you!

Hello Catalin,
Could you please check CUNI Configuration in SRM and see if the ISO code is assigned to unit of measure. Per my understanding Unit of measure do not show in Shopping cart drop down list if no ISO code is maintained.
Thank you

Hello Catalin,
Thank you for providing details.... In order to prevent your users manually enter the Unit of measure which does not show on drop down list you can simply make Commercial meas. unit check box un-check for Unit of measure KT in CUNI. You can find that in the last section as Application parameters. Once you un-check that button and users uses that manually they will get the error. Please find below two screen shot for the same.
Hope this helps.
Thank you
Ritesh
