Change level type in worklflow in BADI

hi ,

we have configured process controlled workflow with few levels. 4 of them are with approval with completion and 1 is approval. In SAP standard we cann't have 'Approval' step in between ' approval with completion' step. this is causing issues with our implementation. we need approval step in between approval with completion steps.  what we are planning is define all steps as 'approval with compeletion' and in the process_config badi change level type to 'approval' with some steps. is this possible to do?

hi Laurent,

thanks for the reply. I did check this note. it talks about implementing meta data framework for specific fields. I want to control the edit option for the whole SC. As i asked in the thread, can we change the level type in the BADI? does it work?

ya.. you are right. I could have tried that before posting the tread. bit lazy from my part. anyway we can change the level type from C to A and reamove 'X' from doc_changable flag, Then EDIT button disappears.
