cFolder Authorization

Hello friends,

We are using SRM 7.0 with PPS. CFolder and SRM installed in same server and same client

1. I would like to know which Authorizations has to assign for cFolder users.

2. Following roles has been assigned in Purchaser Id

/SAPSRM/EMPLOYEE , /SAPSRM/MANAGER , /SAPSRM/ST_PURCHASER , /SAPSRM/OP_PURCHASER , /SAPPSSRM/PROCUREMENT , /SAPSRM/ADMINISTRATOR and cFolder related SAP_CFX_COMP_CREATOR , SAP_CFX_USER .

3. Following roles has been assigned in Bidder Id:-

/SAPSRM/BIDDER, /SAPSRM/SUPPLIER, SAP_CFX_USER, SAP_CFX_ADMINISTRATOR.

1. When I am clicking on u201CTech RFxu201D button from Purchaser or Bidder Id then I am getting u201CPage Not foundu201D error but from the Admin Id I am not getting such error. Exactly which cFolder Authorization I have to assign in Purchaser or Bidder Id?

2. How to restrict Authorization for Bidder and Purchaser , mentioned in following link http://help.sap.com/saphelp_srm70/helpdata/en/a7/ea98848f574388ab21778ddb306c4b/frameset.htm

Please suggst me.

Hi Abhijeet,

Only SAP_CFX_USER should be assigned to cFolders users (both purchasers & bidders).

No need to assign any other cfolder role to bidding application users. Do NOT assign SPA_CFX_administrator role to bidder/purchaser.

When a purchaser creates 2-Envelop RFx, a collaboration is also created. The purchaser will have admin access for this RFx collaboration.

He can give 'Read, write etc' authorization to the folders in this RFx collaboration to specific users.

--> Click on Technical RFx to goto collaboration

--> Click on any folder or document here

--> You will see some buttons there. One of those buttons allow you to give authorizations to other users.

Hi Ramki,

Thanks for your suggestions. I removed SAP_ALL authorization from the Purchaser side and Bidder side.

I would like to know related to cFolder functionality.If I am wrong then please correct me.

Purchaser Id (At the time of Publish the Bid)

I am getting following Folders.

1. Collaboration

2. External Area

3. Internal Area

Bidder Id (At the time of Technical RFx Response)

I am getting following folders

1. Collaboration

2. External Area

Purchaser Id ( At the time of opening the Technical Bid)

I am getting following Folders.

1. Technical Bid -> Bidderu2019s Technical Bid

2. Collaboration

3. Evaluation

4. External Area

5. Internal Area

Bidder Id (After Accepting Technical Bid)

1. Technical Bid -> Bidderu2019s Technical Bid (Now Bidder is able to view other Bidderu2019s Technical

Detail, before Accepting Technical Bid Bidder was not able to view other

Bidderu2019s Technical detail)

2. Collaboration

3. Evaluation - (Now bidder is able to see the Evaluation details submitted by Purchaser)

My questions are

1. Purchaser is not able to view the Technical Folder (at the time of Publish the bid). Is it correct?

2. In which folder I have to assign Technical Documents? ( because I am getting only 3 folder)

ANS: Correct.

Ans: This shd be bug. Should not assign admin role to appl users.

There should be something wrong here (most probably due to Admin role; Or you might be trying to test bidder role immediately after purchaser role testing. Preferably, you shd close all IE windows or test purchaser & bidder in different PCs).
