Categories for reverse auction

What categories of products can be sourced through the reverse auction function of SAP Ariba?

Can buyers organize reverse auction events for packaging material, logisitcs, media agencies, and traded items?

Does SAP Ariba have a database of suppliers for the above mentioned categories or do buyers always have to invite all their suppliers to the platform?
