Carry our Sourcing link not present in EP for SRM 7.0

Hi

We are using SRM 7.0. When we create a Shopping Cart then as per the configurations made it should be present in Purchaser's Sourcing cockpit for further action. However when we log in as Purchaser we do not see the "Carry Out Sourcing" link at all even though all the possible roles have been assigned to him in Portal. We get the Strategic Purchasing link but there isn't anything within it.

Can someone kindly give us a few leads to solve the issue.

Hi,

It is in Operational Purchaser Role.

Purchasing tab -> Sourcing -> Carry out Sourcing

Hi Masa,

Thanks for the reply, The operation purchaser role is already assigned in the Portal . However still option for Carry out sourcing can not be seen. Any suggestion why it is not being displayed.

Hi

Check by testing the service BBPSTART (in Tx SICF) in SRM. If present, there might be a problem with portal mapping.

The portal is starting correctly. Still the "Carry Out Sourcing" link is missing. The Operational Purchaser and Strategic Purchaser roles are assigned in the portal.

Please logon as administrator to Portal and check the Role in Portal contents.

If the iView is missing, you can add it.
