Cannot create PO in ECC via "Create Purchase Order" Button

When attempting to create a purchase order via the "Create Purchase

Order" button in SRM Portal instance, we are unable to select

the "Purchase Order Types" for ECC. We are sure that our connections to

ECC are there as there are many orders returned in the the PO query for

Purchase Orders in ECC. We know that the Document Types for Purchase

Order do exist because Purchase Orders exists in ECC.

Steps for Reconstruction

Prerequisite: A user with SRM 7.0 Harmonized roles.

1. Click on the Purchasing ERP/SRM tab

2. Click on Purchasing Documents in 3rd level navigation

3. In the content area, click on Purchasing Orders Query results

4. Click on Create Purchase Order button "Purchase Order:New" Window

appears detailing the different Purchase Order Types in SRM

5. Click on "Select System" dropdown and select ECC

6. The error message displays, "The table does not contain any data".

Several Questions come to mind.

Should this application display the different ECC Purchase Order Types?

Once selected, will this application trigger a call to create the

Purchase Order in ECC?

Hello,

I have seen a similar issue, which has been solved in the following way:

This issue happens due to the missing data in table /sapsrm/prsel_pt which stores information on the process types.

The data in the table /sapsrm/prsel_pt is populated via the report /sapsrm/get_bs_data (Get ERP customizing data for Business Suite).

If you use Personal Object Worklists (POWLs) that allow you to access both SAP ERP and SAP SRM objects, you must schedule this report to replicate data from SAP ERP to SAP SRM and make it available for the input help and dropdown lists of the POWLs.

You must either start the report every time you make changes in Customizing for SAP ERP or schedule a job that runs the report regularly.

Kindly check if this report is properly scheduled and run in your system.

Also, check documentation below:
