Hi All.
I got a problem when statrted SAP upgrade from 9.0 PL11 to SAP 9.3 PL08
I changed password using reference "Forgot password"
After that I successfully logined on to SLD with new password. After that I restarted SAP Business One SLD Service and SAP Business One License Manager.
After that I started upgrade SAP and I got the same error message: Cannot connect to SLD server; verify site user password or check proxy server connection settings.

I did following:
1. Reinstalled Server Tools
2. Deleted SLD database and install Server Tools again. While installation it requested me new B1SiteUser password. I have already set it. I successfully logined on to SLD ControlCenter
But, in result, while SAP upgrading the same problem appeared: Cannot connect to SLD server; verify site user password or check proxy server connection settings.
Hi,
Make sure the B1SiteUser password is correct. If you are still facing the issue even if the password is correct make sure there is no special character $ in your password.
