Can you edit a contract term document when executing an administrative amendment type

Hello all,

I'm looking to confirm whether its feasible to configure the system to allow for a contract term document to be edited when executing an Administrative amendment in the contract workspace.

If it is possible, I'm wondering is it also feasible to restrict the fields that can be edited when executing this amendment type.

I've spent many hours searching the product documentation on SAP Ariba Connect but could not find any information on this subject.

As far as i know, administrative amendments don't change the contract workspace's status to Draft Amendment. The administrative amendment type was designed this way intentionally, as it allows owners to update a project's metadata without completing the tasks often required by the workflows for the major amendment types
