Hi,
I'm looking for a way to convert approved PRs into Sourcing Projects automatically in Ariba.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank!

following it. I am with scenario that the customer wants to create PRs in Guided Buying followed by a Sourcing Request --> sourcing Project --> Contract workspace --> contract terms --> end it with Catalog item or contract to consume it

Alexander,
Thanks for clarifying. If you're working from a requisition in your integrated ERP system, then this is possible using Quote automation. I'm not sure if this is exactly what you are looking for as the PR is not created in Ariba, but you could look into this help portal document for more details. https://help.sap.com/docs/sap-business-network-for-procurement/quote-automation-configuration-and-in...
All my best.
Melissa

Hello Alexander,
Yes, you can do this with Quick Sourcing from Requisition. The Quick Sourcing from Requisition feature needs to be enabled for this. Please follow the below steps to complete this:
Enable the feature through feature manager in Buyer Service Manager:
-Login to Service Manager
-Click Feature Manager > Feature Availability Status
-Search for the feature P2X-163: Enable Quick Sourcing From Requisition
-Click Edit > Add/Remove
-Add the site to the feature and click Done
Enable downstream parameter Application.Purchasing.EnableQuickSourcingForRequisition
Run the below scheduled task in Ariba Sourcing:
-Click Manage > Administration > Advanced mode
-Click Site Manager > Scheduled Tasks
-Search for the schedule task EnableSourcingForProcurement and Run it.
To create the Sourcing Request from the Requesition, you must have the Purchasing Agent or Purchasing Manager groups, then:
-Click Create > Requisition
-Select a line item > click Add to Cart > Proceed to Checkout
-Enter a Title and value for all required fields > click Create Sourcing Request
Now, if you look at the requisition, it will be in Sourcing Request Sent status, so you should check the sourcing side:
-Click Search > Sourcing Request
-Search for the Sourcing Request ID (will be present in the requisition header) and Open it
-Click the Documents tab
-Click Actions > Create > Subproject
-Click Sourcing Project
Thank you! Melissa
