Can Central Contracts be Distributed from SRM 7.03 PPS to ECC?

Does anyone know if central contracts can be distributed from SRM 7.03 (PPS) to ECC?  I have read several forums that this is not supported.  I need to know if it is are there limitations?

Sadly, that is correct : you cannot distribute contracts - central or otherwise - if you are running SRM PPS. PPS has a couple of strange limitations the other being you cannot create Confirmations in SRM to transfer as GRs into ECC. We had to develop a custom front-end wrapper which called either MIGO or ML81N.

Do you happen to know if there is a document from SAP that states this clearly, that Central Contract Distribution to ECC is not supported when using PPS in SRM?

SAP very unlikely to state anything 'clearly' especially if it could be perceived as a shortcoming in their software! I was involved in an SRM-PPS implementation in 2010 where an SAP consultant managed the procurement piece and we were simply told it didn't accommodate distribution of contracts.
