Business Parner role concept support in SAP Ariba SLP

Dear all,

We will use SAP Ariba SLP in the cloud connected via CIG and SAP Cloud Connector to an on premise SAP S/4 HANA RMM system.

Does SAP Ariba support or has a similar BP role concept as SAP S/4 HANA ? In SAP S/4 HANA we need to distinguish between a BP which is a full supplier and BPs which are still only bidders. In SAP S/4 HANA we could configure/use two different BP roles for this distinction. If SAP Ariba would have similar roles which are sent across the standard SAP Ariba SLP to SAP S/4 HANA interface in the BP messages we could map the SAP Ariba with the SAP S/4 HANA roles ? If in SAP Ariba roles are not used for this purpose what else is used ?

We need this Information for our design phase.
