BP Role BP004 already exists for Partner

Hi experts

im working on SRM 4.0 and during the creation of a BP, with transaction BBPMAININT (ITS), after compleating all mandatory fields, an error message appeare:

ROLE BP004 ALREADY EXISTS FOR PARTNER XXXXXXX

The system gives me a number of BP but in but000 or in ppoma_bbp nothing appeares!

Any suggestions?

note installed, but...nothing changes error for BUP004 persists

Hi Muthu

i saw a curious situation.

When i try to create Supplier via (SRM 4.0) bbpmainint the system tells me that for the BP 400 the role BUP004 has been already assigned. But in Range's Customizing the number (bu_partner) is 409. So there are 9 bp of difference between BBPMAININT and number range

Yes it can happen., if you dont save number due to buffer issue .difference wil be there.
