Hi,
Recently an auction has been conducted. One of the bidder has submitted a bid as "ZERO" by mistake for one of the Item in that Auction due to which the "Next Valid Bid" for all the bidders had become "ZERO".
This had made the complete Auction to have lost it's significance.
Kindly suggest the following:
1. How can the bidder be restricted from putting the bid price as "ZERO"?
2 Can the buyer rectify this mistake during a running Auction if any of the bidder has done so to prevent bidders from not putting their valid bids and keeping their "Next Valid Bid" intact and Auction can continue?
Now as we are to conduct an Auction again so to prevent the situation which has happened, we need to put a check in system.
Please suggest how this can be prevented.
Regards,
Puja
Hello Puja,
In DHTML using a English Auction, zero price is not taken in consideration.
If you are using a different auction and platform (java, abap) you can use BADI DOC_CHECK to restrict that bidder submits zero price.

Mateus
