Hi all,
I have a question regarding the hierarchical structure of bid invitations.
The item field grouping_level is used to define if a position is a lot or if it is a normal position: but I note that the possible value for the domain of the fields are:
1 ' ': Items are Independent of Each Other
2 'F': Items May Only be Processed Together
3 'L': Items are a Lot
Could you explain the difference between L and F? And how is it possible to define a position as F?
Best regards,
Norberto.

If I remember correctly, if the RFx (bid invitation) is created from scratch, you can't define the item with type "F", but only when it is created through sourcing cockpit where you define shopping cart items to be grouped into one bid invitation. The flag "F" is meant to group items together in the follow-on process. "L" is meant to be a group-like layer within one bid invitation where items underneath the lot are the real items which the bidders provide bids for. The sum of the subitems values are then rolled up to the Lot level.
