Bi-directional synchronization between Ariba SLP and ECC

Dear colleagues,

We are on ECC 6 and want to synchronize the vendor blocks (purchase block, posting block) from ECC to Ariba 360 profile and ultimately to the questions configured for the same in an internal questionnaire. How does the two-way synchronization work? And can I filter data that should be synchronized from ECC to Ariba SLP?

Hello,

To set up supplier blocking and unblocking, you create Yes/No questions in the internal registration questionnaire and map them to blockedIndicator fields in the vendor database. Please see the SAP Help portal Supplier Blocking and Unblocking.

The best practice is to manage blocking directly in SAP ERP.

SM feature toggle Bi Directional Sync between SLP ERP Supplier replication should be enabled for bi-directional sync between ERP and SLP systems.

This feature pushes updates from an integrated ERP system to all external questionnaires that are not in approval to improve synchronization between buyer data and the supplier view of external questionnaires.

External questionnaires should have maintained with standard supplier field mapping as per payload structure sent from external system against the respective question.
