Hi Gurus,
I have scheduled a program BBP_CONTRACT_CHECK to generate alerts in SRM system. The batch job triggers an alert workflow which presents a workitem in the inbox conataining a message. The workflow does not have any e-mail step.
However i can see a number of alert e-mails generated in SOST . Also their text is different than the text present the workflow work item.
Can you guide me what type of setting is triggering these alert mails. The mails are related to contract expiry ,validty and value.
The workflow uses HTML PROCESS method of object FORM.

SPRO: SRM -> SRM Server -> Cross-Application Basic Settings -> Event and Event Schema for Alert Management -> Define Event Schema
There are several Event Categories.
+ Alert
+ Task
+ Message
+ Exception
Please note "Workitem" and "Alert" are different.
