Automatic PO Creation from PR ?

Hi Experts,

I am aware that a PO can automatically be created from a PR when appropriate configurations are made in SAP. However i wanted to understand if it is possible to automatically create a PO from a PR only after the PO is approved using the Release Strategy.

Current Scenario:

PR's are approved in the system post which system automatically creates a PO in SAP. (No Additional Approvals for PO Required)

Recommended Scenario:

PR's are approved in the system, post which the system sends the PO for approval using the release strategy and only after all approvals are obtained the system automatically creates the PO.

Let me know if this scenario is possible in SAP.

Hello Micheal,

do not know if it could work for SRM PR tranferred to ECC for PO creation, but you could try to implement SAP ECC enhancement M06E0004 (SMOD transaction) to trigger you PO release strategy.
