Automate Material replication

Hello,

I have a specific requirement for material master replication for 3 different material types. However the material number series for all the material types are different and have to replicate the materials which are not having MRP views.

So is it possibility to replicate with filter?

Whenever a new material is created, the same need to replicated without any manual intervention.

Is it possible to configure in SRM 7.0

Please give your valuable inputs.

Hi,

Please follow the note "519794".

It talks about filtering based on purchasing view.

You can try for MRP views accordingly.

Is it possible to Automate the replication of materials? Instead of Initial Download?

Or once the initial download is done, later on does the delta download will replicate a newly created material.

Yes it is possible with scheduling of the background job "SMOF_DOWNLOAD" with variant.

This is the program for R3AS transaction.

What about the filters? Like a material types XYZ is with Number series C* and ABC with B*. In this pattern we want to set filter.

Does the Program considers it or it will consider only one filter?

All the filters set for the object "MATERIAL" will work with the program.
