Attachments in non-catalog item

Hi,

I am wondering if anyone has stumbled across the requirement to include attachments directly in the non-catalog entry screen within ARIBA Guided Buying or ARIBA Procurement.

We've got a process where a user has to create a non-catalog item request with a beforehand bespoke and received PDF quotation. This PDF document has to be added to the non-catalog item.

Currently we have to add this document during the checkout process on line level. We see some process improvements when the user can add it directly on the non-catalog item entry screen.

Any ideas so far?

Many thanks and regards Tobias

In guided buying, you can create a line item form tile (also known as a requisition form) that includes an attachment-type widget. This allows users to add the attachment while filling out the non-catalog item details.

To ensure the attachment is carried over to the requisition details, enable the ENABLE_SHOW_FORM_ATTACHMENTS_IN_REQLINE parameter on the guided buying admin page. See Guided Buying Parameters for more details on this parameter.

Hi Matthew,

thanks for your reply and help. I was thinking about an individual form upfront until I came across our further requirement to have a section to show and select "preferred suppliers" same as in the standard non-catalog form.

I haven't found a possibility to add this section in my individual form and hence I've hoped someone has already solved the question how to add attachments to the standard non-catalog form.

Maybe I've missed something.
