Ariba Suppliers Not Confirming Component Consumption for Subcon PO's

Hello everyone,

Is there any configurations on the ECC side that will automatically update our suppliers 'Component Inventory' table in Ariba whenever a subcontract PO is received in? When the 543 movement type is completed in SAP, we would like the 'Component Invnetory' table in Ariba to update.

At the moment, we have a background PRODUCT_ACTIVITY_MESSAGE job that runs and will update the quantity balance if a supplier forgets to confirm the consumption of their components. However, that PRODUCT_ACTIVITY_MESSAGE will only be published if there is still stock on hand at the supplier. If a supplier consumes all the material they had on hand, the PRODUCT_ACTIVITY_MESSAGE won't be generated and the quantity in Ariba will never update to show the material is no longer on hand at the supplier. We would like a solution where the 'Component Inventory' table would always be correct even if the supplier never confirms consumption of their components.
