Hi,
we want to create a punch out catalog with a supplier.
The punch out is available and visible in Ariba. However, when I want to validate the catalog I get this message:Less
"This subscription from Ariba Network contains a supplier not known to Ariba Buyer. Your supplier administrator has been notified of this. Once the supplier has been entered, this subscription will be re-imported."
How is it possible that we do see the punch out catalog in Ariba, but the supplier is unknown?
I have created a business partner, but I think something is wrong with connecting the business partner number with the correct profile on SAP Business Network.
Request clarification before answering.
If ANIDs are not aligned, probably it's the error. This ANID is used to integrate Buying with Ariba Network for catalog and PO outputs.
I recommend to reproduce it in test environment with a dummy supplier and find the best solution. Probably, you need to put in Ariba Buying the same ANID that in Ariba Network (I suppose that ANID in Ariba Network is the correct value).
As an extra knowledge, ANID in Ariba Network is automatically defined when supplier links the accounts but, in standard Ariba, ANID in parent and child is defined manually, then probably, you defined it with wrong value during catalog enablement.

Hi,
Have you checked that ANID is aligned in all systems?
Based on my experience, you need to check the following points:
- Ariba Network trading relationship in Ariba Network Buyer is stablished correctly.
- Supplier ANID is right in Ariba Network Buyer.
- ANID is defined properly in Ariba Buying (Core Administration -> Supplier -> Organization IDs -> transactionnetworkid) and aligned with Ariba Network. Note: In this case, be careful with your architecture because if you are working with integration suite catalog integration works in parent.
- Through Catalog administration, check that ANID or other identificator for supplier is defined correctly in the catalog file.
I hope it helps you.
BR,
Víctor.

Hi Victor,
thank you for your reply. I have checked your comments and that might indeed be the problem.
- Ariba Network trading relationship in Ariba Network Buyer is stablished correctly. --> I do have a trading relation with that specific supplier
- Supplier ANID is right in Ariba Network Buyer. --> It is the correct supplier, they have confirmed this.
- ANID is defined properly in Ariba Buying (Core Administration -> Supplier -> Organization IDs -> transactionnetworkid) and aligned with Ariba Network. Note: In this case, be careful with your architecture because if you are working with integration suite catalog integration works in parent. --> I this this one might be the problem. With the business partner that I created, I see a different organisation ID compared to the Supplier on SAP Business Network. How can I make sure these are connected?
- Through Catalog administration, check that ANID or other identificator for supplier is defined correctly in the catalog file. --> My question is related to punch out, so not sure if I need to change anything for this.
Do you have any idea how to fix this?

Fleur
