Ariba POs in "Ordering" status and History Tab is empty

Hello all,

We have some purchase orders in "Ordering" status and they have no Order ID or History, therefore we cannot identify the error. Supplier master data is OK and there is no visible error. What can be the source of this problem?

Thank you,

Ece

Hi p.ecetasli,

"I was checking daily the second path (the transaction tracker from the CIG) and comparing the number of document types "PurchaseOrderExportRequest" and "PurchaseOrderAsyncImportPullRequest". There are mismatches of these document type's numbers and the number is the same as the Ordering POs with no Order ID. But I could not get the problem sourcing from there." -
Are you telling me that you are able to see for some Purchase Orders the document types "PurchaseOrderExportRequest" and "PurchaseOrderAsyncImportPullRequest" in CIG? and some of the PO's have come to Ordered state in P2P.

This is the case only for few PO's where you are able to see the document type "PurchaseOrderExportRequest" and not its corresponding "PurchaseOrderAsyncImportPullRequest".

If this is the case then the parameters which I have mentioned neednot be enabled. To find the parameters however the path is Click on "Advanced" --> "Customization Manager" --> "Parameters". Search for Application.Messaging.Channels.WS.CIGEnabled and Application.Common.AsyncIntegration.

To update the WS namespace, it is Data Fix Manager --> Update WS Namespace --> Provide "urn:Ariba:Buyer:vsap" in New Namespace field

Your investigation should be now in ERP for these missing PO responses.

In ERP can you check SRT_MONI(with sender interface name: ERPToAribaBuyerResponse_Async_Out and receiver interface name: BuyerPurchaseOrderCreateRequest_Async_In), SLG1(with object name: ARBCIG_PROCUREMENT and subobject name: PURCHASE_ORDER), ST22(for any dumps)

"In the Integration Manager, not all the tasks are enabled. For example Purchase Order Async Export is disabled, that's why I cannot check the web service status for that task from the first path you provided." - This statement is a bit confusing to me. If you are able to see some PO's of your realm in CIG then the event "Export Purchase Orders Asynchronously" should have been CIG enabled. Please check this in "Integration Manager" --> Cloud Integration Gateway.

Thanks,

Narasimha

Well, I found my answers in SRT_MONI. I can get the error messages for the Ordering POs withouth Order ID. How can I match the error message with relevant Order ID. Or is it possible to link the error message with the Order?

Thank you Narasimha for your support.

Best regards,

Ece.

Thank you for your response,

I am wondering how can I track the specific PR from there?

If all the PO's are struck in Ordering means, the PO has not received any response from CIG/ERP. Can you check if the PO requests are present in CIG transaction tracker?

Can you check if these parameters are set in Ariba Buying and Invocing Solutions:

Application.Messaging.Channels.WS.CIGEnabled

Application.Common.AsyncIntegration

WS namespace needs to be correct -> urn:Ariba:Buyer:vsap

Thanks,

Narasimha

Not all of them but we have a lot of orders in status "Ordering". I was also asking how can we see if the PO requests are present in CIG transaction tracker?

Hi p.ecetasli,

In Ariba Buying and Invoicing solution go to Service Admin --> Integration Manager --> Data Import/Export --> Provide Task Name as "PurchaseOrderAsyncExport" Check the web service status OR

You can login to CIG via the Integration Manager--> Click on "Visit the cloud integration gateway" and check the transaction tracker. There are mutiple filters given. You can use document type - PurchaseOrderExportRequest

I hope in Ariba Buying and Invoicing solution, you have set the below parameters:

Application.Messaging.Channels.WS.CIGEnabled

Application.Common.AsyncIntegration

Made a data fix to correct webservice namespace:
urn:Ariba:Buyer:vsap

In the integration Manager, enabled all the tasks.

Thanks,

Narasimha

Also is it possible to share with me where can I check the parameters are set or not?

In the Integration Manager, not all the tasks are enabled. For example Purchase Order Async Export is disabled, that's why I cannot check the web service status for that task from the first path you provided.

I have created an SR for this case but I think this platform is faster. However, I could not understand if the answers are suitable for all products or customers. We do not use Invoicing or I do not know are those tasks have to be enabled for all products and customers etc.

Thank you again for your support.

Best regards,

Ece.

Hello Ece,

I hope you enabled CIG in Ariba Buying.

Can you please check the status of the message in CIG Transaction tracker?,

Thanks,
