SAP Ariba does not require any pre-defined templates for invoice exceptions. However, you can create your own custom exception types, if needed. In Core Administration or Administration, you should be able to configure the different exception types you wish to use. This includes setting up the different values and classifications you need, as well as any response actions required for each type of exception. You will also need to set up the different rules and logic you wish to use for triggering the exceptions. You may be able to use existing rules and logic provided by SAP Ariba, or you may need to set up new ones depending on your specific business requirements. Finally, you will need to configure the different types of notifications applicable to the exceptions. This includes specifying the different stakeholders who should be notified of the exception, and setting up the different messages or email templates.
