Ariba Integration with SAP SOH on Azure

Anyone have experience with integrating SAP ARIBA and SAP Suite on Hana which is installed in Azure infrastructure?

Do we need SAP Cloud Connector as we integrate with SAP ECC on premise?

To your second question on SAP Cloud Connector is required for CIG Direct connectivity / integration between SAP Ariba solutions and SAP ECC Onpremise.

Thank you for answering my question.

We are from SAP partner, and we get queries from our customer who want to integrate Ariba P2P to their SAP ERP(Suite on Hana) which are installed in IBM Cloud, pardon me, in my initial question we thought that their SAP ERP was on Azure.

So regarding my second question, it means we still need to install the SAP Cloud Connector on the IBM Cloud infrastructure right?

HI Hari

If you are trying to integrate SAP Suite on any device it should not matter as SAP has a direct connectivity and ITK connectivity with both R/3 and S/4 versions so you should be able to connect via that

Are there more details available on what modules are you trying to integrate and do you need 1 way or 2 way integration

You could also build a custom integration by getting the details from Ariba and sending to SAP

To answer your 2nd question you may do without cloud connector if it is Ariba integration with S/ 4

for master data et. You may need Cloud integration gateway in some cases

Based on our discussion, the modules they want to implement is P2P.

And they plan to choose CIG for the integration purpose.

Is there any guidance on what are the standard interface which come up by default from CIG related to Ariba P2P integration with SAP ERP?
